Takelex

Keywords your library keeps.

Takelex analyses your Final Cut Pro clips on your Mac and hands back reviewed keywords and keyword ranges, so the Browser becomes the search.

On your Mac, nothing uploaded. Footage and labels never leave the machine.
You review every keyword before it reaches Final Cut Pro.
Automatic labels are suggestions. They can be wrong, especially people counts, which start switched off: you keep or drop each one.
$29 once, no subscription.

Design preview of the Takelex review screen: a clip list on the left, the clip's frame with a labelled box around two people in the centre, and on the right automatic labels marked Suggested: TL Medium, TL Wide and TL Close-up for shot size and TL Exterior for setting, each to keep or drop. A timeline below shows shot size and setting ranges and the speech waveform. — Design preview, in development.
